A hands-on lab in cross-sector collaboration
What happens when museums, artists and people from othersectors bring their different ways of thinking into the same room. During the CrossInnovation Learning Lab we will together explore whatcross-sector collaboration is, why it matters for innovation and development inthe cultural and heritage sector, and how it can be applied in practice.
The workshop is highly interactive. You will experience howdifferent expectations and perspectives can create both friction andopportunity, practise working with disagreement rather than avoiding it, andexperiment with skills such as possibility thinking, flexible thinking, connective thinking, listening and speaking up.
The day will be facilitated by Swedish cross-innovationspecialists Martin Q Larsson and Geert van Kuijk, whohave spent years bringing together people, sectors and ways of thinking that donot usually meet.
It is especially aimed at museum professionals, artists from different disciplines, and curious participants from othersectors: business, education, research, public organisations and civil society.
No previous experience of cross innovation is needed, onlycuriosity and a willingness to think with people who doesn’t think like you.
The workshop will be in English, and is free ofcharge.
